Elizabeth Haydon is a stellar writer who can truly make the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of her world come alive. Ven Polypheme is my favorite childrens/young adult heroes because he is, in spite of belonging to an old, magical race in an old, magical world, absolutely and utterly real.

bool was in good condition and I enjoyed it
My grandson read through this in about a day and he loved it
A good read for the family and plenty different from the previous book in the series. It keeps children and parents interested and isn't too dark to give anyone nightmares IMO.
This is a wonderful book, even though it was created possibly for younger audiences, the story is engaging and I devoured this book and the others like it quickly.
Wow! This new series for young adult readers had most of the staff at my elementary school lining up to read before the kids got a chance. Excellent characters, exciting plot, you find yourself wanting to know these people. Thank you! I loved Rhapsody, and this is also terrific.
This is the second book in the series. My 13 year old daughter read each one and then handed them to me. I enjoyed it too.
