Hello nerdy hero Kyle. You might very well be my favorite new book friend.

Man, did I love this book. Everything about it screamed YES, PERFECT, FAVORITES. Who knew one error from a simple text message could lead you to the love of your life? Sigh. Romances like this prove to me that there is nothing short of miracles when it comes to love.

This is the story of Kyle and Haley. Two people who are more alike than they imagined. Secret texts draw them close, but the moment they discover each other in the flesh? Yeah, it's everything and then some. I first met Haley in Until We Break. My heart broke for her. (I won't say why in case you haven't read the first book in this series) Of course I'm thankful for what happened in the end to her because it led her (AND ME) to Kyle. Nerdy, adorable, sexy Kyle with the kind heart and the quiet demeanor. (At least until you get him in the bedroom. *grins*)

This was a slow building romance, but when the match is struck in the sexual tense, the relationship between them explodes. It's hot. Office sex hot. (God, I loved that part) But they both have secrets, and secrets often break relationships. Luckily I'm noy the spoilery kind to tell you what happens.

If you're looking for fun romance, then this is it. If you're looking for explosive chemistry in said fun romance book, then this is it too. This book will break you. Make you weepy, then it will have your toes curling and your face hurting from ginning like a fool. This book is exactly the type of New Adult romance I love. Angsty when it needs to be, hot when it moves the story forward, and sweet when your heart feels close to shattering. I highly recommend this story (this series) Jamie Howard is one author I'll forever one-click for.

Until it’s Right is a new adult contemporary romance by author Jamie Howard. I love the idea behind the plot of Until it’s Right. Girl meets guy at bar. guy gives girl number. girl gets number wrong and starts a text romance with wrong number guy. Not to mention her real life romance/friendship with her cute coworker. And oh, yea, he also happens to be her wrong number texting buddy. It was just too cute of a concept to pass up. It screams romantic comedy to me. And Until it’s Right turned out to be even better than I was expecting it to be. I instantly fell in love with Kyle and Haley. This book has top pick of 2015 written all over it.

Until it’s Right is the kind of book that will give you book butterflies. You know what I mean, while you are reading you catch yourself smiling like an idiot, because the book is just so darn cute. The characters are just so darn cute and the whole story gives you all the warm and fuzzies. That is Until it’s Right in a nutshell. Kyle is swoon-worthy and such a sweetheart. And Haley is a great gal. It made me sad that neither one of them realized their own potential. Each one thought that they didn’t measure up in some way, and that is just a darn shame. Kyle takes the cake for me though. I am such a sucker for a nerdy guy. and watching Kyle freeze up every time he was around Haley was just about the cutest thing ever. I loved the line about the only words that were coming into his head at his disposal were “potato” and “monkey” after Hayley smiled at him. (see what I mean about the smiling and the warm and fuzzies?!)

The story unfolds in a kind of predictable manner, which was just what I wanted. (if you want more about how I feel about predictable books, check out my post on them here)There were a few surprises up author Jamie Howard’s sleeves, but not anything that completely blindsided me. Much of the focus of the book was on Haley and Kyle and their various relationships. They were the stars, and it was fitting because the book was told in dual narrative between the two of them, with Haley chapters being just a bit more frequent than Kyle’s

Bottom line If you like new adult contemporary romances that are really really well done feel good books, this is a must read for you. It will have you smiling, laughing and will leave you in a better mood than when you started to read it. Until It’s Right is the definition of a feel good romance to me. Read it!

Very entertaining.
I have been following Jamie's books and like her vocabulary and how she held my interest.
I really enjoyed this book. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because I would have liked an epilogue. I would have liked to see them engaged or something more definite. Other than that, great read!
This book was adorable, and I needed it. I mean, I really really needed it. It seems I've had two reactions to my books lately subpar, or I freaking loved it but it was intense as hell (there's maybe been two or three exceptions in the past couple months). So I desperately needed a light read like this.

Sometimes I feel alone in my appreciation of nerdy, beta males, but I really enjoy them--and Kyle was no exception. I loved how average he was. I loved that he was a little insecure and a bit awkward, it was a nice change of pace from what I've been reading. The only thing that might be a problem for some was that since he was a beta and she was a beta, there was A LOT of angst before they finally get together. Even though people all around them keep telling them that the other has feelings for him/her.

Their insecurities and the fear of telling the other person might be annoying for some people, so that's why I'm throwing it out there. I personally was fine with it, even when I wanted to shout at both of them. But they've both been burned before and, to me, I could understand their reluctance.

I only wish the ending had been a bit longer and didn't feel so abrupt, I like to get a little more. Regardless, I still really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it. I would say to keep it on hold for a time when you need a break from all the heaviness that's in other books, I think you'll enjoy it a whole lot more--it'll be a great pick-me-up when you need something light and fun )
